If you’re in need of food or seeking community this Thanksgiving, Friends of Public School Harlem is here to help.
FPSH will be holding its 10th annual Feeding Families Holiday Event on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, at 12 pm. The event will be held at 1325 5th Avenue at the storefront between 111th and 112th streets and will last until all meals have been distributed.
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s meals will be “grab & go”. Masks and 6 feet of social distancing will be required at all times. Masks will be provided for those who need them.
Korey Wise of the “Exonerated Five” will be present to meet attendees and help hand out food, as will District Leader Keith Lilly. The event is being held in cooperation with The Sojourner Truth Democratic Club, Councilman Bill Perkins, and The Migdol Family Foundation.
